‘Light in the Night’ block party helps those in need

A Light in the Night block party was held in the Upper Milford Township building Oct. 23. The event, organized by the Upper Milford Mennonite Church, has been a regular Halloween festivity since 2010, according to Mandy Ritter.

This year was a special one as it marked the return of indoor fun, games and crafts. Food was also provided. Ritter told The Press that in 2020 and 2021, organizers had to modify the event to ‘Trunk-or-Treat’ due to COVID-19 virus concerns.

Everyone who participated at this year’s event was invited to donate nonperishable items for Nature’s Goodness Zionsville Area Food Pantry.
