Adrianne Finley Odell new Head of School at Moravian Academy

Adrianne Finley Odell has been named the next Head of School at Moravian Acaemy in Bethlehem. Finley Odell has been serving as the Interim Head of School since July.

Finley Odell came to Moravian Academy from Roycemore School in Evanston, Ill., where she served as Head of School for five years. Previously, she spent seven years at Shorecrest Preparatory School in Florida, first as Director of Advancement and then as Assistant Head of School. She also served as Director of Development for seven years at The Calverton School in Maryland.

“There are so many things to be proud of at Moravian Academy,” Finley Odell said in a statement. “From the outstanding academics, to the top-tier athletics, to the inspiring arts program, our campuses are filled with excellent people and programs that offer life-changing opportunities for young people.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve at the helm of a school that is grounded in a storied tradition of academic excellence but is looking boldly forward at the future,” she said. “I believe the ultimate purpose of school is to provide an inspired environment for young people to acquire a love of learning through authentic experiences, to gain a deep understanding of themselves and others, and to build confidence to make their own unique contributions to the world.”
