Salisbury Alumni Wall of Honor nominations due Oct. 1

Salisbury High School will hold a financial aid night for families of juniors and seniors to learn about aid available for those considering college.

This event will begin 6:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at SHS, 500 E. Montgomery St.

Refer to the email sent home for more information.

Salisbury Elementary School will hold its next PTO meeting 7 p.m. Oct. 3.

SES will hold its annual Heavenly Hat Day and the next SES T-shirt day Oct. 7. Look for information regarding this fun way to help others to be sent home with your students.

Alumni Wall of Honor nominations are now being accepted and must be submitted by Oct. 1. If you know a Salisbury Township alum who deserves this distinction, visit salisburysd.org under the community tab to complete a nomination form no later than Oct. 1.

Looking forward, all Salisbury Township School District schools will be closed Oct. 10. School will resume Oct. 11.

You will also want to save the date of Oct. 8. Eastern Salisbury Fire Department will host a touch a truck event 2 to 6 p.m. at SES, 1400 Gaskill St.

There will be an incredibly special guest truck – a working replica of Transformer OPTIMUS PRIME! Optimus will be surrounded by a barrier and it does NOT transform, but I promise you will not want to miss this opportunity.

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury, 1707 Church Road, Allentown, will hold a bingo game 2 p.m. Oct. 23 in the social hall. Doors open 1:30 p.m. For more information, call Louise at 610-866-1611.

The Devonshire drop-off location will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 29 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 1.

The Franko Farm drop-off location will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 3 and 6 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 8.
