51st annual Walla Gazoo tourney

The Lehigh Valley business community teed off at the Bethlehem Golf Club for the 51st annual Bethlehem Chamber Walla Gazoo Tournament Aug. 15. The tournament was a sellout according to Tammy Wendling, senior vice president of Bethlehem Initiatives, Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, with 132 registered golfers. Participants received lunch sponsored by Lehigh Valley with Love Media and cigars sponsored by Cigars International when arriving and were feted at a backyard barbecue after, where prizes were awarded and entertainment provided. Wendling said proceeds from the event, one of the Bethlehem Initiative’s largest fundraisers, are used to support various existing and new initiatives in the City of Bethlehem.

This year’s winners were:

Winning foursome - Derek Wallen, Tim Bream, Patrick Rex and Drew Van Driesen

Pot of Gold - Mary Lisicky

Closest to the pin - Robert Spellman

Male longest drive - Travis Schmidt

Female longest drive - Kelley Spellman
