DUI

A 54-year-old male, of Rockaway, N.Y., was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of South Cedar Crest Boulevard and Kathleen Avenue, Salisbury Township, 10:58 p.m. July 31, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Accident

A motorist escaped injury after striking a concrete barrier multiple times on Interstate 78 near mile marker 55.3, Salisbury Township, 2:22 a.m. Aug. 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist was traveling westbound in a 2015 Volvo VNL truck cab when he lost control and struck the barrier on the right side of the road. The impact also damaged a sound barrier. The vehicle struck the barrier multiple times then spun counterclockwise across all travel lanes and came to a stop on the center median, according to authorities.

Drug possession

A 32-year-old male, of Brooklyn, N.Y., allegedly was in possession of cocaine at a traffic stop on Interstate 78 eastbound, Salisbury Township, 12:30 a.m. June 28, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
