Cancer run/walk on Aug. 20

The ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk-Lehigh Valley will take place 9 a.m. Aug. 20 at Upper Saucon Community Park, 3231 Preston Lane, Bethlehem.

Activities will include the ZERO Run/Walk which will feature a 5K Run/Walk, 1 mile Walk, Kids Dash for Dads, a mission speaker, entertainment by Nashville recording artist Jimmy Charles, local eateries and vendors, activities just for kids and more.

ZERO will also offer a National Virtual Run/Walk presented by AutoNation on the Charge Running App to allow all members of the ZERO community to come together in the fight to end prostate cancer.

The ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk series is the largest men’s health event which occurs in nearly 50 markets across the country and raises more than $4 million toward the fight against prostate cancer each year.

Blue Ribbon Cancer Coalition of Pennsylvania is the local host for the Lehigh Valley event.

A portion of the funds raised is used to support prostate cancer programs in the greater Lehigh Valley and eastern Pennsylvania.
