Dorothy Kraemer of Bethlehem

Dorothy “Dottie” Kraemer, 92, of Bethlehem, died peacefully on May 30, 2022. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Clara (Davis) Marsden. She was the wife of the late Frank “Bud” Kraemer.

She was a 1947 graduate of Allentown H.S.

During World War II, she volunteered with Navy Club U.S.A. of Allentown, and promoted Anchor Day to support the troops. She worked in the auditing department at Sears, Roebuck and Company for more than 30 years.

She volunteered with the Peanut Makers at Bethany United Church of Christ, Bethlehem. She played boomba in the Kitchen Band. She made weekly outings to the Mid-County Senior Center.

She is survived by two daughters, Gail Goshert of Eugene, Oregon, and Karen Bealer of Bethlehem; one son, Ross Kraemer (Traci) of Deer Creek, Ill.; six grandchildren, Bryan Goshert (Yin-Yin), Jason Goshert (Elissa), Audra Bittner (Scott), Brett Bealer (Heather), Christopher Kraemer and Nicholas Kraemer; and five great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sophie, Maxwell, Abigail and Henry.

She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Lori Jeanne Kraemer; two sons-in-law, George Goshert and Roland Bealer; and a half-brother, Robert Marsden.

Contributions made to Bethany United Church of Christ, 600 Market St., Bethlehem, PA 18018; or to the Lower Nazareth Senior Community Center, 306 Butztown Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020.
