Wawa’s reaches 100 EV charging stores with its Upper Macungie site

Wawa recently announced a company milestone reaching 100 electric vehicle charging stores across its operating area.

Wawa associates, Tesla representatives and the community gathered June 3 at Wawa Store No. 266, at 7572 Schantz Road, Upper Macungie, to celebrate this chain-wide milestone with a ceremonial ribbon cutting near the Tesla Superchargers, followed by an EV parade during which all local EV owners were invited to participate.

Wawa began hosting EV charging locations at its first store in 2017.

Wawa hosts Tesla Superchargers, and EVgo and Electrify America universal EV chargers with both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors.

To date, Wawa hosts 100 EV charging locations, including 92 with Tesla Superchargers sites and nine universal EV chargers.
