Help ArtsQuest throw Lehigh Valley’s biggest party at Musikfest 2022. They need beer pourers, cash conversion assistants, help at the soda booths and assistance backstage. Have fun doing crafts or playing games and help to keep the kids with special needs stay safe at our exciting summer camp at Camelot for Children in Allentown. Volunteer for one day or as often as you can 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday June 20 through July 29. Teen buddies, adults and medical personnel needed. The 30th Annual Rooms to View House Tours is June 11. Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites needs volunteers 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. or 12:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. Houses are in the Bethlehem area. Sign up to choose your preferred location. The minimum age to volunteer is 15 with adult. This is a great opportunity for friends and small groups. Will you speak up for a child who needs you? Lehigh County Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers gather information about the circumstances of children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse and/or neglect. CASA volunteers are sworn officers of the court and visit the child, write reports and advocate for the child’s best interests. Contact Erin Colón at 610-782-3858 or CASA@lehighcounty.org.

Greet visitors during gallery hours and provide information about the featured artist(s) at Nazareth Center for the Arts. Shifts are two to four hours between noon and 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Volunteers are welcome to bring their art, craft or practice their instrument during your gallery hours. The minimum age to volunteer is 17 with an adult. Spanish or English- speaking volunteers are needed virtually or in person to tutor or assist with teaching English as Second Language, math, social studies or Language Arts for students at The Literacy Center. YLEAD is a leadership and service program for Lehigh Valley high school students (entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the fall) hosted by the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley. Participants in the program develop critical leadership skills while working to support nonprofit organizations through service projects. Two sessions offered are offered: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 11-15 or July 25-29. Application and payment options are available on their website, www.volunteerlv.org/y-lead. Support young musicians. Join the board of directors at Young People’s Philharmonic of the Lehigh Valley. Time commitments include attendance at monthly board meetings (currently remote) September through June and some committee work in between. The minimum age to volunteer is 25.
