Moore Township: Karaoke, deejay night set for May 14

Point Phillips Rod and Gun Club, 1035 Smith Gap Road, invites the community to a deejay and karaoke night 8-11 p.m. May 14. There is a cost.

Moore Township invites the community to a free movie night starting dusk May 20 at Borek Field in the Moore Township Recreation Center, Monocacy Drive and English Road. The featured movie will be “Addams Family 2.”

No outside food or drink is permitted. The snack stand will be open.

In celebration of its 250th anniversary, Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, is having an oldies dance with music by Desire 6-9 p.m. May 21. Doors will open 5 p.m.

There is a cost. Tickets or reservations are needed.

Moore Township announces a number of meeting additions, changes and cancellations.

The zoning hearing board will not hold a meeting in May.

The land and environmental protection board will hold meetings the second Monday of each month May through September at the Recreation Center pavilion, 650 English Road, Bath.

The historical commission will hold a workshop, followed by a regular meeting, 6:30 p.m. May 24 at the Edelman Schoolhouse, 165 Longley Road, Nazareth.

The board of supervisors will hold a workshop to discuss the road plan 6 p.m. May 26 at the municipal building, 2491 Community Drive, Bath.
