Weisenberg Elementary holds student-vendor craft fair

On April 29, Weisenberg Elementary School held its first student-vendor craft fair in the gymnasium.

Sponsored by the PTO, the turnout was impressive.

“There are 21 vendors,” Krista Perinotti, vice president of the PTO said. “It was open to any student in Northwestern Lehigh School district.”

Students and their guardians (parents, grandparents, family members and friends) displayed their products including jewelry, food items and artwork.

Mary Perinotti, a fourth grade student at Weisenberg was selling popcorn and was pleased with the sales.

“I’m selling a lot of popcorn,” she said.

Olivia Blanken, a sixth grade student at Northwestern Lehigh Middle School was selling her customized bracelets.

“People tell me what they want on their bracelet, usually names and I make them,” she said.

The bracelet business was brisk as demonstrated by her jar filled with cash.
