Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

APRIL 4

A dispute between family members took place in the 200 block of Howertown Road.

In the 300 block of Church Street, officers investigated a noise complaint from a motorized bicycle.

Officers responded to a report of a verbal disturbance in the 400 block of Bridge Street.

A vehicle was ticketed due to a parking violation in the 200 block of Front Street.

APRIL 5

The department investigated a report of a fraudulent check at Catasauqua Area School District, 201 N. 14th St.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Race Street.

APRIL 6

Thefts and attempted thefts in the 200 block of Wood Street, at Pine Street and Howertown Road and at Howertown Road and Willow Street were reported to the department.

Officers responded to a disturbance, involving a neighbor dispute, at Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St.

Suspicious activity in the 500 block of Pine Street was addressed.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 700 block of Railroad Street.

In the 700 block of Limestone Street, a possible fraud attempt was investigated.

A hit and run took place in the 200 block of Wood Street.

Officers responded to a disturbance, involving a reported mental health issue, in the 500 block of Race Street.

Police assisted citizens in the unit block of North 12th Street and the unit block of South Front Street.

A verbal domestic dispute occurred in the 400 block of Crane Street.

APRIL 7

A driver was cited for a traffic ordinance violation during a vehicle stop in the 300 block of Pine Street.

Two juvenile females, one 12 years old and the other 13 years old, were cited for harassment at Innovative Arts Academy, 330 Howertown Road.

A female adult missing from the 100 block of Bridge Street was reported.

At Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St., officers investigated a report of threat/harassment by phone communication.

APRIL 8

A suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Walnut Street was reported.

APRIL 9

On Front Street, a vehicle was towed.

A report of property damage at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., was addressed.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1200 block of Hunter Street with a report of a missing juvenile, who was later found.

APRIL 10

Suspicious activity in the 600 block of Bethlehem Road was investigated.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of Bath Avenue.

A report of four-wheelers on the roadway in the 100 block of Race Street was filed with the department.

APRIL 11

A noise complaint at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., was investigated.

At Howertown Road and Peach Street, a disturbance involving a dispute over parking had police at the scene.

Officers responded to a juvenile complaint in the 300 block of Howertown Road.

APRIL 12

Traffic violations occurred in the 400 block of Pine Street, with the driver cited; at Second and Peach streets, with a verbal warning issued; and in the 400 block of Second Street, with the driver cited.

An animal complaint in the 800 block of Mulberry Street was investigated.

A wanted person in the 400 block of Second Street was transported to central booking.

A reckless driver at Second and Race streets was reported to the department.

APRIL 13

Officers investigated noise complaints in the 100 block of Front Street and the 100 block of South Front Street, the latter with a citation filed against Erica Augello, 33, of Catasauqua, for an ordinance violation.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.

Reports of identity theft had police in the 300 block of Mulberry Street and the 400 block of Howertown Road.

At 547 Front St., an investigation of solicitors and vendors occurred due to a complaint.

In the 200 block of Bridge Street, a verbal warning was issued for a traffic violation.

APRIL 14

A report of suspicious vehicles/noises in the 400 block of Prospect Street was investigated.

Erica Augello, 33, of Catasauqua, was cited in the 100 block of South Front Street for an ordinance violation when officers responded to a noise complaint.

In the unit block of Cambridge Place, a domestic disturbance occurred. No arrests were made.

A Megan’s Law community notification occurred in the 200 block of Wood Street.

A vehicle was towed in the 300 block of School Street due to a parking violation.

Marian Santana, 31, of Allentown, was arrested for simple assault and harassment at Fifth and Oak streets during a reported domestic disturbance.

The body of a man, who died from natural causes, was found in the 600 block of South 14th Street.

In the 500 block of Fourth Street, a dispute took place.

Officers assisted Easton police at Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St.

APRIL 15

Erica Augello, 33, of Catasauqua, was cited in the 100 block of South Front Street for an noise ordinance violation.

In the unit block of Front Street, a domestic disturbance was investigated. No arrests were made.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

Officers assisted a citizen at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.; Lehigh Valley International Airport police at the airport, 3311 Airport Road, Hanover Township; and North Catasauqua police at Fourth and Chapel streets during a vehicle stop.

APRIL 16

Police assisted Coplay officers on the Ironton Rail Trail, for a reported firearm deployment, and in the 200 block of Second Street, for a missing autistic male, who was later located. Assistance was also given to North Catasauqua officers at Berks and Grove streets and in the 1000 block of Howertown Road, the latter for a suspicious vehicle report.

At 330 Second St., an animal complaint was investigated.

An unwanted person in the 300 block of Church Street was reported.

Officers responded to a report of a fire pit ordinance violation in the 900 block of Bridge Street.

APRIL 17

A motorcycle was reported stolen from the 800 block of Race Street.

Police investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of St. John Street.

In the 100 block of Front Street, a disturbance involving a neighbor dispute took place.
