NAZARETH: “Little Shop of Horrors”

The musical comedy “Little Shop of Horrors” chews up the stage, 7:30 p.m. April 21, 22, 23 and 2 p.m. April 24, Nazareth Area High School, 501 E. Center St., Nazareth.

Director Sandra Jameson is assisted by Assistant Director Devin Cetnar, Music Director Craig Albert, Visual Directors Sue Durner and Molly Samuelson, Orchestra Director Rick Hilborn, Technical Directors Chelsea Soto and Randall Utsch, Choreographer Paige Horvath and Costumers Adrianna Wagner, Claire Eberly, Emma Higton and Rachael Schaffer.

With music by Alan Menken, lyrics and book by Howard Ashman, the rock musical is based on the 1960 film “The Little Shop of Horrors” by Charles B. Griffith.

The musical debuted off-Broadway in 1982. The 2003 Broadway production was nominated for one Tony Award.

Songs include “Skid Row (Downtown),” “Feed Me (Git It),” “Dentist!” “Suddenly, Seymour” and “Don’t Feed the Plants.”
