Clement R. Fenstermaker

Clement R. Fenstermaker, 88, of Lower Macungie Township, died March 12, 2022, in his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Helen J. (Ashcraft) Fenstermaker. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Clement A. and Eva (Hertzog) Fenstermaker.

He honorably served his country in the Army during Korea.

He owned and operated Fenstermaker Painting and Papering for 50 years, retiring in 2002.

He was a member of St. Peter’s Union Church.

He was a life member of Cetronia Fire Company, member of Macungie VFW, Legion, Emmaus Historical Society and the Mercantile Club of Emmaus.

He enjoyed motorcycle riding, bowling, golf and playing pinochle.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Alexis M. and her husband, Scott Soltis and Jessica S. Decker; grandchildren, Tyler, Mason, Corbyn, Laycee and Kaytee; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings, Richard, Brinton, Nancy Knauss and Betty Kahle.

Contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Union Church or Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2024 Lehigh St., Allentown, 18103.

Memorial services with military honors will be held 11 a.m. March 17 in St. Peter’s Union Church, 7863 St. Peter’s Road, Macungie, 18062. Visitation 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
