A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of East Lexington Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Jan. 11 and remains under investigation.

Theft

A 16-year-old male was charged with alleged theft Jan. 11 after an incident at Salisbury Township High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., according to Salisbury police. The teen was referred to the juvenile justice panel.

Retail theft

A 43-year-old male, of Douglassville, was charged Jan. 15 with alleged retail theft following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police.

Warrant

A 19-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was taken into custody Jan. 7 on an arrest warrant from Salisbury Township following an incident in Bethlehem, according to Salisbury police. The male was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Scam

A resident of the 800 block of East Tioga Street was scammed into depositing $7,500 into a Bitcoin ATM after being told her computer and bank information had been compromised, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Jan. 8 and remains under investigation.

Fraudulent check

A merchant at South Mall Mercantile, South Mall, learned a fraudulent check was cashed using the merchant’s account information, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Jan. 10 and remains under investigation.

Criminal mischief

A pellet or BB was shot through a window of the former Bon-Ton department store, South Mall, Jan. 14, according to Salisbury Police. The incident remains under investigation.
