‘Use of Force’ media workshop Feb. 17

The Pennsylvania State Police will be partnering with the Lehigh University Police Department and Northampton County District Attorney’s office on Thursday, Feb. 17 to present, “When Force is Used: Social, Organizational and Legal Considerations” for members of the media only.

The goal of this presentation and demonstration is to provide members of the media with a unique opportunity to enhance their understanding of police use of force and the use of force training provided to Pennsylvania State Police cadets.

The presentation begins at noon and will provide attendees with an overview of the criminal and civil standards which govern police use of force.
