Susan M. Reiss Cicon, 73, of Emmaus, died Jan. 12, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Kermit H. and Virginia D. (Donnelly) Reiss.

She was employed at Lehigh Valley Hospital until her retirement.

Loved daughter, sister, mother, nana and mother-in-law – her 11 grandchildren were her pride and joy. You could always find her at their many sporting events and school activities. Her practical jokes and baking were family favorites at holiday gatherings. Her fun-loving attitude and immense love for her family will be greatly missed.

She is survived by children, Shelley Christman-Scharer (Karl), Stephen III (Brittney) and Scott (Kelly); grandchildren, Tyler, Alex, Reid, Kylie, Delaney, Crosby, Austyn, Scotty, Kayla and Sean; siblings, Bonnie Ehritz (Tom), Rita Rumfield, Nancy Bauer, Terry Reiss (Jan), Donna DeSautels (John), Dennis Reiss (Cheryl). She was predeceased by a grandchild, Karlyn Scharer.

Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
