Benjamin Bruce Bleiler

Benjamin Bruce Bleiler, 47, of Orefield, formerly of Emmaus, died suddenly due to an automobile accident Dec. 19, 2021.

He and his wife, Erin (Kimball) Bleiler, were married three years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of Bruce and Georgene (Wieder) Bleiler, of Allentown.

A 1992 graduate of Emmaus High School, he continued his studies at Penn State University, later transferring to Lehigh Carbon Community College from which he earned an Associate degree in biomedical engineering.

He was employed for the past 18 years at Lehigh Valley Health Network, currently holding the position of technical service manager in clinical engineering.

He enjoyed being outdoors and was a skilled archer and loved spending time with his family hunting and fishing at his hunting camp in Clearfield County.

The couple was season ticket holders to the IronPigs and he enjoyed his family time together watching the games.

He loved his “YOTA” and took pristine care of it, enjoyed vacationing with family and friends, spending time on the beach and boogie boarding, sampling a new craft beer, rafting and camping trips, the annual Syracuse basketball game, music concerts and just relaxing and spending time with family and friends.

Most importantly, he was a loving and caring dad who could be found in the stands cheering on his son Brayden at his baseball games or sitting on the floor putting together LEGOS and playing monster trucks with his son Dylan.

He was a wonderful husband to his wife who was equally supportive and encouraging of him.

He was a loved son and brother and overall good person who was an even better friend to all who knew him.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by sons Brayden and Dylan; sister Brenda Stuart of Kernersville, N.C.; nephew Joshua Stuart; niece Makayla Stuart of Texas; mother-in-law Mary Skinner of Allentown; father-in-law Michael Kimball of Novasota, Texas; and sister-in-law Mary Elizabeth Kimball of Washington, D.C.
