Suicide prevention group hosts event Jan. 12

The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Lehigh County will host a free coalition event 5 to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 12 at Cedar Crest College, Cedar Crest Boulvard, Allentown.

The program “You are the difference: Stories of family resilience” will be held in the conference center in Tompkins College Center on campus.

All are welcome including survivors, professionals and those genuinely interested in reducing suicides.

The event will highlight personal stories of loss and resiliency and share data about suicide.

The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Lehigh County supports social services groups, communities and others concerned about the rising numbers of deaths by suicide.
