DUI

A 56-year-old female motorist, of Bethlehem, was charged with allegedly driving under the influence after state police responded to an accident involving multiple vehicles at Hamilton Boulevard and Krocks Court, Lower Macungie Township, 4:50 p.m. Dec. 14, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 28-year-old female motorist, of Allentown, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop for speeding and other offenses at the intersection of Indian Creek Road and Overlook Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 3:39 a.m. Jan. 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI suspended license

A 39-year-old male, of Reading, was found to allegedly be driving with a DUI suspended license after a traffic stop at U.S. Route 222 South/North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:34 p.m. Jan. 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Drug possession

Kevin Alexander Paz Mancilla, 23, of Riverdale, Md., allegedly was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in a traffic stop at U.S. Route 222/North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:40 a.m. Nov. 27, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Retail theft

Two females allegedly removed multiple pairs of shoes, with a total value of $4,544.44, from DSW shoe store, 833 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, in two separate incidents between 2:30 and 3:18 p.m. Dec. 12, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The women allegedly entered the store with large bags and took shoes from the shelves and out of boxes, placed the shoes into their bags and left the store before employees discovered the thefts. Store surveillance video revealed the alleged thefts.

Two females allegedly took merchandise valued at $3,633.98 from Dicks Sporting Goods, 707 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:44 p.m. Nov. 15, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The credit card of one of the suspects was declined at checkout; however, she allegedly left the store with the merchandise and got into a silver sport utility vehicle driven by the second suspect. The vehicle left toward North Krocks Road.

Loss prevention personnel noticed two people allegedly under-scanning items at Walmart Supercenter, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:54 p.m. Dec. 4, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The suspects left the area in a gold pickup truck.

Propulsion of missiles with intent

A motorist and passenger were stopped northbound at the intersection of Mill Creek Road and Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6 p.m. Dec. 29, 2021, when they heard glass shatter and discovered the rear left door window had been struck by a projectile, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A small hole in a lower portion of the window appeared to be caused by a BB pellet. The window was valued at $215.

Hit and run

accident

A 52-year-old motorist, of Germansville, was charged with alleged accidents involving damage to attended vehicles and related traffic offenses after she fled from the scene of a two vehicle collision in the 1000 block of Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:48 p.m. Nov. 7, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Harassment

A 25-year-old female, of Emmaus, was charged with harassment after she allegedly texted and called another person numerous times between Dec. 25 and 27, 2021, after being told to stop, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The person she allegedly contacted was at a location in the 800 block of Cold Spring Road, Lower Macungie Township.

An incident of harassment occurred between two co-workers at Costco Wholesale, 791 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Dec. 5, 2021.

Wire fraud

A resident of the 2700 block of Rolling Green Place, Lower Macungie Township, was manipulated into wiring more than $10,000 to an unknown bank account for anti-virus protection software, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 2:45 p.m. Dec. 14, 2021.

Theft of funds

An employee at Penn Sheet Metal Inc., 421 Schantz Road, allegedly embezzled money from the company through fraudulent payroll deductions, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Nov. 15, 2021.
