Catasauqua Area School District is offering a special education parent training series 6-7:30 p.m. Dec. 15, with a theme of positive behavior supports. This session will take place at the district administration office, 201 N. 14th St., Catasauqua.

Sheckler Elementary’s fourth-grade students will have their holiday concert Dec. 21.

On Dec. 22, Santa Claus will make a special visit to the students at Sheckler. The kids will also have their parties on this day.

Sheckler students will be dismissed early - 11:45 a.m. - Dec. 23.

CASD will be closed for the holiday/winter break from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2, 2022.

Students will return to their normal schedule Jan. 3, 2022.

Sheckler is looking to fill a school counselor position. Appropriate certification is required, and the position will become available in January 2022.
