Norman Lieberman

Norman Lieberman, 95, formerly of East Allen Township, died Nov. 25, 2021, at Traditions of Hanover. He was the husband of the late Florence A. (Neff) Lieberman for 54 years.

Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Earl V. and Mabel (Hilberg) Lieberman.

He was a heavy equipment maintenance mechanic in the blast furnace for 42 years for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

He was a member of the former Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schoenersville, and was currently a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bath.

He was a member of Indianland Garden Club, Cherryville.

He is survived by a daughter, Drinda Zimmerman and companion David Farber; a daughter-in-law, Dora Lieberman; five grandchildren, Kim Ruiz, Todd and Gregory Zimmerman and Randy and Scott Lieberman; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Earle J. Lieberman and his wife Shirley; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Randall Lieberman; a son-in-law, Donald Zimmerman; a brother, Victor L. Lieberman; and six sisters, Viola L. Neff, Ida S. Smith, Eva M. Gallagher, Fern I. Reeser, Elda C. Haydt and Orpha G. Ockenhouse.
