Salisbury police blotter

DUI

Kevin Andrew Neff, 27, of Allentown, was charged Nov. 6 with allegedly driving under the influence and exceeding maximum speed limits following a traffic stop in the 400 block of East Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police. Neff was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Eryk Markus Smith, 28, of Chatham, Ga., was charged Nov. 1 with allegedly driving under the influence and multiple traffic offenses following a traffic stop on South Lynn Street, according to Salisbury police. Smith was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Tyler J. McGowan, 29, of Nazareth, was charged Oct. 30 with allegedly driving under the influence and several traffic offenses following a traffic stop in the 1000 block of East Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police. McGowan was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Theft from motor vehicle

Adrian Ceasar Torres, 36, of Allentown, was charged Nov. 4 with alleged theft from a motor vehicle, theft by unlawful taking and related offenses following an incident at the Vinart Reconditioning Center lot, 3143 Lehigh St., according to Salisbury police. Torres was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

A wallet containing miscellaneous items was removed from a vehicle while parked at Waldheim Park, 2400 S. Hall St., according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Oct. 27 and remains under investigation.

A sports bag containing an undisclosed amount of money was removed from a vehicle while it was parked in the 3300 block of Lehigh Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Oct. 30 and remains under investigation.

Warrants

A 57-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant Oct. 24, according to Salisbury police. He was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

A 54-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant from Beaver County while he was at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, Nov. 1, according to Salisbury police. He was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Harassment

A 32-year-old male, of Kutztown, was charged with alleged harassment following an incident in the 2200 block of Melrose Avenue Nov. 3, according to Salisbury police.

Two 12-year-old females were referred to the community justice panel following an incident of alleged harassment at Salisbury Middle School, 3301 Devonshire Road, Oct. 25, according to Salisbury police.

Unsworn falsification to authorities

Ella Hope Salibi, 31, of Allentown, was charged Nov. 2 with alleged unsworn falsification to authorities, false identification to law enforcement authorities and several traffic offenses following a traffic stop on South Pike Avenue, according to Salisbury police.

Truancy

A 17-year-old-male was charged Nov. 4 with alleged juvenile compulsory school attendance for accumulating 26.5 unlawful absences from Salisbury High School, 500 E. Montgomery St., according to Salisbury police.

Theft

Numerous items, with a total value of $450, were removed from South Mall Mercantile, 3300 Lehigh St., according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Nov. 1 and remains under investigation.

A resident of the 3400 block of Lincoln Avenue learned $49,500 was removed from an investment account, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Nov. 3 and remains under investigation.

Unauthorized purchases

A resident of the 3100 block of Essex Road discovered $643 of unauthorized purchases made on a personal Kohl’s department store credit card, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Nov. 3 and remains under investigation.

Identity theft

A resident of the 1900 block of South Bradford Street discovered their personal information was used to apply for unemployment benefits, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Oct. 29.

Scam

A resident of the 1700 block of South Albert Street received a check to be cashed for “nanny” services rendered and was instructed to deposit the check and send some of the money back to the sender. The resident recognized the scam and did not deposit the check. The incident was reported Oct. 24 and remains under investigation.
