Catasauqua Area School District will be closed Nov. 25-29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Students will resume their normal schedule Nov. 30.

Sheckler Elementary counselors have posted their November newsletter on the school’s Facebook page. This month, students are taking a look at ways to show gratitude. The letter also includes details on what each individual grade will be working on throughout the month.

The Class of 2025 is selling Poppin Popcorn to raise money for its junior prom. The sale will include cookies, chocolates and other treats and will run until Dec. 8.

All orders will be shipped to the customer’s home.

The Class of 2025 is also raising funds through Brother’s Pizza on the first Thursday of every month. Ten percent of the check on orders for dine-in and takeout services will go to the Class of 2025 students.

Sheckler fourth-grade students will have their holiday concert Dec. 21.

On Dec. 22, Santa Claus will make a special visit to the students at Sheckler. The kids will also have their parties on this day.
