Catasauqua Area School District is working to Keep Catty Kids Warm for its annual winter coat distribution, planned for 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 20 at the district administration office, 201 N. 14th St. Drop by if you are in need of a coat or other winter accessories such as hats or gloves.

To receive a coat, you must provide proof of residency within the Catasauqua Area School District.

This is the district’s fourth year handing out coats for students. According to Lois Reed, district business supervisor, the group gave out 150 coats last year and 175 the year before.

CASD partnered with Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, the Rotary Club and Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association to make this coat drive possible. District staff members also assisted with donating coats.
