Free electronics recycling offered

Goodwill Keystone Area is partnering with Reworld to offer residents across 22 central and southeastern Pennsylvania counties a convenient way to drop off their old electronics items – including TVs – for free.

This initiative responds to a critical need in the region, expanding electronic recycling options under the PA Covered Device Recycling Act 108.

There are 42 store and donation centers across the 22 counties where Goodwill Keystone Area operates.

The Goodwill Keystone Area includes Lehigh, Northampton, Berks and Bucks counties among other counties.

The following list of electronics will be accepted at all Goodwill Keystone Area stores and donation centers.

Computing and peripheral devices



•Peripheral devices such as keyboards, printers, networking equipment, printer/scanner/copier all-in-one devices

Entertainment electronics

•Video players VCR/DVD/Blu-ray players

•Gaming systems

•Audio devices including stereos, radios and MPS players

Communication devices


•Mobile devices

Visual and imaging equipment

•Cameras including video cameras and standard cameras


•Cable and set-top boxes

Small appliances


•Vacuum cleaners


•Miscellaneous electronics items

•Electronic wiring

•Answering machines

Items not accepted include loose batteries, bulbs, smoke detectors, hazardous household waste, devices containing Freon, any devices containing mercury, white goods including refrigerators, ranges, water heaters, freezers, unit air conditioners, washing machines, clothes dryers and other similar domestic and commercial large appliances.
