Dorothy G. Derhammer

Dorothy G. Derhammer, 93, of Fellowship Manor, Whitehall, and formerly of Fullerton, died Oct. 16, 2021. She was the wife of the late William F. Derhammer for 68 years.

Born in Hazelton, she was a daughter of the late Clarence E. and Naomi Ruth Wenner.

She was a head chef at Fullerton Elementary and then at Steckel Elementary schools. She retired in 1990.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church for 63 years. She was Tootles in the Feast of Fools church clown group.

She is survived by four sons, William A. and his wife Fran, Randy J. and his wife Debbie, Gary R. and his wife Lorraine and Chris R.; a daughter, Karen J. Kearney and her husband John; 13 grandchildren, Michael and his wife Mary, Jenna and her husband Ralph Stollenwerk, Lisa and her husband Marcus Haro, Lucas and his wife Nicole, Levi and his wife Megan, Dawn, Halle, Ethan, Kelly and her husband Marc Sterling, Ryan Kearney, Troy Kearney, Jasmine and Christopher; 14 great-grandchildren, Adeline, Alden, Hank, Alexis, Katie, Dylan, Brooke, Brianna, Declan, Weston, Chelsea, Riley, Reagan and Austin; and extended family.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Luther David; a sister, Margaret Barber; and two children, Keith James and Cynthia L.
