AUG. 11

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of St. John Street.

An intoxicated individual on Pine Street was reported.

A burglar alarm sounded twice at the same residence in the 400 block of Faith Drive.

Police assisted Whitehall officers with a motor vehicle accident on South Lehigh Avenue and North Catasauqua officers with an arrest on Second Street.

Officers responded to a civil matter in the 300 block of Second Street.

AUG. 12

On Front Street, a domestic disturbance, with no arrests, took place.

DUI charges are pending against a 57-year-old Nazareth man for violations in the 100 block of Front Street.

Parking complaints in the 300 block of Race Street and the 100 block of Railroad Street were investigated.

In the 100 block of Front Street, officers assisted a citizen.

Trespassing in the 200 block of Front Street was reported.

A dispute over a vehicle in the 400 block of East Wood Street was investigated.

On Second Street, a vehicle was ticketed.

Darryl Hudson, 28, of Allentown, a fugitive from justice, was found in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.

Fire alarms sounded at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

A report of unemployment fraud in the 400 block of Bridge Street was addressed.

An animal complaint in the 200 block of Church Street was referred to an animal control officer.

In the 300 block of Walnut Street, police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.

A person missing from the 100 block of Bridge Street was reported to police.

AUG. 13

A suspicious person in the 800 block of Race Street was reported.

Charges were filed against Shawn Meitzler, 33, of Catasauqua, for a theft on West Race Street, according to the report.

A parking complaint on Crane Street was referred to a parking enforcement officer.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with an arrest on Fourth Street.

A vehicle at Howertown Road and Peach Street was ticketed.

AUG. 14

Individuals were warned on South Front Street when police investigated a noise complaint.

Officers conducted a welfare check on North 12th Street.

At the same residence in the 500 block of Race Street, members of the department investigated an animal complaint and a domestic disturbance and conducted a citizen assist. Javan Azer, 26, of Catasauqua, was arrested on two charges, including a protection-from-abuse violation.

A suspicious person in the 600 block of Poplar Street was reported.

In the 400 block of Bath Avenue, a hit and run to a parked vehicle took place.

Civil matters were addressed in the 100 block of Front Street and at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

On Railroad Street, a domestic disturbance was investigated.

AUG. 15

An issue between a landlord and tenant took place in the 200 block of Peach Street.

Checks missing in the 700 block of Front Street were reported to the department.

AUG. 16

At Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St., officers assisted a citizen.

On Chestnut Street, a parking complaint was investigated.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious female in the 500 block of Front Street.

Suspicious activity in the 100 block of Canal Street was reported.

An alarm sounded in the 400 block of Race Street.

In the 700 block of Second Street, a civil matter involving a personal property dispute was addressed.

A parking complaint at Second and Chestnut streets was investigated.

Police responded to a protection-from-abuse violation in the 600 block of Second Street.

AUG. 18

A stray dog was reunited with its owner after an animal complaint on Race Street was investigated.

On Mulberry Street, a report of a stray dog was addressed.

In the 700 block of Third Street, a parking complaint had police at the scene.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Second Street with a domestic disturbance.

A report of an animal complaint on Howertown Road was filed with the department.

AUG. 19

At Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St., police assisted a citizen.

Parking complaints in the 600 block of Front Street and the 600 block of South 14th Street was investigated.

On South 14th Street, a traffic violation had police at the scene.

A civil matter, involving child custody, in the 200 block of Peach Street was reported.

Officers assisted Whitehall police on South Lehigh Street.

Suspicious activity in the 600 block of Pine Street had police at the scene.

AUG. 20

A suspicious vehicle at Catasauqua Towers, 547 Front St., was investigated.

On Howertown Road, a juvenile traffic violation occurred.

Vehicle stops occurred on American Street and in the 200 block of Lehigh Street, with the latter involving the driver being cited.

In the 300 block of Peach Street, officers responded to a parking complaint.

AUG. 21

Police conducted a welfare check in the 600 block of Second Street.

On Front Street, an animal complaint was addressed.

AUG. 22

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Front Street and the 1000 block of Fourth Street.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Peach Street.

Members of the department assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Front Street.

AUG. 23

A dispute between a father and daughter took place in the 200 block of Peach Street.

A fire with code violations in the 100 block of Front Street was investigated.

Police responded to a domestic dispute, with an arrest, in the 200 block of Peach Street. James Brickhouse, 24, of Catasauqua, was cited for harassment.

An accidental death occurred in the 500 block of Fourth Street, according to the report.

Officers investigated a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Church Street. Alena Yenik, 48, of Catasauqua, was arrested for simple assault and harassment.

A child custody issue brought police to the 600 block of Third Street.

In the 700 block of Second Street, a dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend took place.
