Emmaus police blotter

Burglary

Items valued at $1,200 were removed from a home in the 200 block of North Sixth Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 9.

Yard tools valued at $1,155 were removed from a garage in the 700 block of Furnace Street after someone broke a window of a garage door, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 26.

Stolen vehicle

A GMC Savana van, valued at $3,000, was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue Sept. 1, according to Emmaus police.

DUI

An 18-year-old male, of Emmaus, was arrested Aug. 8 for allegedly driving under the influence and careless driving in the 300 block of Berger Street, according to Emmaus police. He was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center.

Criminal mischief

Someone spray painted three areas of a former Rodale building, 401 10th St., causing $50 damage, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 9.

Someone smashed the rear door window on a GMC Savana van while it was parked to the rear of the 500 block of Broad Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Aug. 25.

Someone broke the glass pane of a front door in the 500 block of Broad Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported Sept. 3 and the glass pane is valued at $150.
