Lindsey Garnel competes on Bloomsburg forensics team

The Bloomsburg University forensics team competed in an online speech and debate tournament.

Bloomsburg University won the third-place team sweepstakes award out of seven schools at the Collegiate Forensic Association’s Third Virtual Tournament held Feb. 12-13.

Parkland graduate Lindsey Garnel from Breinigsville was second in persuasive speaking, fifth in dramatic duo with Nick Sorkine, and sixth in poetry.

Neil Strine, Ph.D. is director of forensics at the university.
