Doris J. Rute, 93, of Trexlertown, died Sept. 7, 2021, at Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. She was the wife of the late LeRoy T. Rute.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Paul T. and Viola A. (Erich) Millhouse.

She was a graduate of Allentown High School.

She was an operator for seven years for the former Bell Telephone Co., Allentown.

She was a former member of the former Salem United Church of Christ, Allentown.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters; and a brother.
