Friedens Lutheran Church, 9727 Red Road, Kempton, just off Route 737, Stony Run, is accepting orders for its apple dumpling, apple tarts and apple crisp sale. This event will be held rain or shine.

A limited number of extras will be available.

Pickup will be drive through 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 18 in the church parking lot.

Have cash or checks made out to Friedens Lutheran Church ready when arriving in the parking lot.

Church members will load orders into trunks of vehicles. Follow the traffic flow in the parking lot.

A mask is required.

The church is having a “free” yard sale 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 11.

There will be lots of Christmas items, decorations, tree ornaments and more.

Household and kitchen items, craft items, bedding, towels, books, knickknacks, angels, and Hess trucks will be available.

All items are free with a donation to the church’s outreach fund.
