State Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, R-134th, is inviting area older adults and their caregivers to his annual Senior Expo Sept. 30, at the Lower Macungie Township Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie. The event will be held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

“The Senior Expo is always a fun day with lots of great information shared with all the attendees,” Mackenzie said. “I encourage all area seniors and caregivers to come out and join us.”

There will be over 50 vendors, ranging from local, state and federal agencies along with a variety of senior-focused organizations offering information about programs and services designed to meet the needs of older Pennsylvanians. In addition, there will also be a number of free health screenings, a light lunch will be served and door prizes will be awarded. You do not need to be present when the door prizes are drawn. You do not need to RSVP for the Senior Expo.

This year, Mackenzie invites seniors to join him for a few rounds of bingo immediately following the Senior Expo 1 p.m. If interested in playing bingo, call the district office at 610-965-9933 to RSVP.
