Allen/East Allen townships: Breakfast buffet to be held July 18

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, 25 Lappawinzo Road, Allen Township, is planning an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet for 8-11 a.m. July 18.

Reminder: Fall 2021 baseball sign-ups are underway for Bath Allen Youth Club. Online registration continues until July 17 for youths ages 5-17.

Allen Township Planning Commission will next meet 7 p.m. July 19 at the Allen Township Fire Company building, 3530 Howertown Road.

Don’t forget Allen Township residents can drop off any yard waste 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays at the township building, 4714 Indian Trail Road.

This is for township residents only. ID is required.

Guided tours of Horner’s Cemetery are available daily, by appointment, dawn to dusk through October.

There is no cost.

Tour guides will detail the cemetery’s links to George Washington and Benjamin Franklin and the ancestors of Presidents Roosevelt and Truman.

The sixth annual Northampton Area School District Student Council car show will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 31 at Bicentennial Park West, 5351 Park West Lane, East Allen Township.

Unangst Tree Farms, 1300 Beth-Bath Pike, East Allen Township, hosts a food truck festival 4-8 p.m. each Wednesday until September.

Each week features nearly a dozen food trucks, musicians and hayrides.

There are several picnic tables, but it is recommended you bring your own picnic blankets or lawn chairs.
