Robbery of a motor vehicle

Worris Carl Mitchell, 54, of Allentown, was charged June 8 with alleged robbery of a motor vehicle, simple assault, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, recklessly endangering another person, reckless driving, driving a vehicle at a safe speed and driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, according to Salisbury police. Mitchell allegedly turned himself in and was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Warrant arrest

A 29-year-old male, of Hazleton, was taken into custody at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, June 18 on an active warrant from the City of Hazleton Police Department, according to Salisbury police. The male was wanted for two counts each of alleged aggravated assault, robbery - inflict serious bodily injury, robbery - threaten to inflict serious bodily injury, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and recklessly endangering another person. The male was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.
