North Catasauqua: Library plans summer program

Public Library of Catasauqua, 302 Bridge St., will be holding its summer reading program June 28 and July 6, 12, 19 and 26.

The program, themed Tails and Tales, includes crafts for children and teens.

The library also invites teens interested in serving their community to join the Teen Advisory Group, where they can discuss favorite books and make suggestions for the chapter books and young adult areas.

TAG members learn leadership skills by promoting teen programs, advising on teen books and movies and making the library a better place.

They can earn community service hours, and snacks are always served.

Members must attend one meeting per month and must be willing to help with events.

Permission slips are required and are available at the library, at catasauquapl@cliu.org or by calling 610-264-4151.
