MAY 11

A parking complaint was investigated in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

Officers assisted with VIN verification on Faith Drive.

Members of the department assisted code enforcement in the 400 block of Race Street.

In the 100 block of East Wood Street, police responded to a report of suspicious activity.

MAY 12

Traffic stops were conducted for violations on Walnut Street.

A vehicle was repossessed in the 600 block of South 14th Street.

A body was discovered in the 600 block of Front Street. The cause of death is under investigation.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers with a welfare check in the 1200 block of Second Street and assisted Whitehall officers in the 100 block of Union Street.

In the 400 block of Second Street, a report of disorderly conduct was investigated.

Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

MAY 13

Traffic stops for violations occurred on East Race Street; in the 300 block of Pine Street, with a citation issued; and in the 300 block of Race Street, with the driver cited and the vehicle towed.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers with a suspicious activity report on Milton Street.

A burglar alarm sounded in the 400 block of Race Street.

An animal complaint and disturbance were investigated at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

A problem with a suspended student at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, was investigated.

An individual was charged for DUI on Tioga Street.

In the 700 block of Third Street, a parking complaint, involving an abandoned vehicle, was investigated.

A fire call sounded in the 200 block of Walnut Street.

Police responded to a civil matter in the 400 block of Limestone Street.

A warrant service was conducted in the 700 block of Crane Street.

Harassment by communication (phone) on Front Street was reported to police.

A welfare check was conducted in the 300 block of Walnut Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

Police assisted code enforcement in the 100 block of East Wood Street.

A suspicious person in the 200 block of Church Street was reported.

On Second Street, a traffic violation occurred.

A report of loud music on Mulberry Street was filed with the department.

MAY 15

On Second Street, a noise complaint had police at the scene.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1400 block of Fourth Street.

A loose dog was struck in the 500 block of Front Street, the department said.

A report of harassment in the 300 block of East Wood Street was investigated.

MAY 16

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of Pine Street.

Police provided protection-from-abuse information during a citizen assist on North 12th Street.

On Second Street, a fraud case was investigated.

A civil matter regarding a verbal contact occurred in the 300 block of Walnut Street.

On Lehigh Street, a report of suspicious males had police in the area.

In the 500 block of Front Street, officers responded to a case of an individual possessing marijuana. An arrest warrant was served, and additional charges were filed.

MAY 18

Traffic stops, with citations issued, occurred in the 1000 block of Race Street and in the 100 block of Pine Street.

A fire alarm sounded on Stonewood Place.

A parking complaint was investigated in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., and in the 100 block of Bridge Street, welfare checks were conducted.

In the 400 block of Race Street and the 400 block of Prospect Street, civil matters were investigated.

Police investigated a credit card fraud case in the 300 block of Howertown Road.

Officers assisted ChildLine and county Children and Youth on Howertown Road.

An ordinance violation occurred in the 100 block of Front Street.

A suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of St. John Street was reported.

A driver was cited in the 300 block of Pine Street during a vehicle stop.

In the 300 block of Walnut Street, officers responded to a complaint of loud music.

MAY 20

A vehicle repossession occurred on Union Street.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of Pine Street.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 500 block of Fifth Street.
