Egypt/Cementon: Yard sale scheduled for June 11-13
Timberidge Development in Whitehall and North Whitehall will hold a yard sale 4-8 p.m. June 11, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. June 12 and 9 a.m.-noon June 13.
Free doughnuts and hot dogs will be available June 12 at 2245 Juniper Drive, Coplay.
The yard sale is sponsored by Amy Wastler, Realtor (610-504-7142).

Cementon Pool, 5185 Dewey St., will open for the season June 19.
Pool passes will be sold during regular hours throughout the swim season. Pool hours are noon-7 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
This year, nonresident passes will not be offered.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, recently celebrated its 45th year in its current location.
The Lutheran congregation in Egypt was organized in 1759 and occupied a variety of different buildings.
The Lutheran congregation, now known as Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, began worshipping in its new building May 30, 1976.
Happy 45th anniversary to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church!

The prayer shawl ministry of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church invites people who can knit or crochet, or who would like to learn, to join them in making prayer shawls to be donated to members of the community.
Meetings are 9 a.m. the first and third Mondays of each month. The next meeting will take place June 21.

The Cementon Knights are accepting girls for a level 1 and 2 cheerleading team.
The group is also seeking a coach and cheerleaders for a 6-and-under team.
The program offers both cheerleading and gymnastics training.
