Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

MAY 1

Officers assisted the fire department in the 100 block of Poplar Street and in the 400 block of Front Street.

A ticket was issued for a parking violation in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

Loud music at the same residence in the 100 block of Main Street was reported to the department twice.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Race Street.

A nonreportable motor vehicle accident occurred in the 200 block of Race Street. Citations are to be issued, police said.

MAY 2

In the 100 block of Bridge Street, police responded to a noise complaint.

Officers investigated a domestic disturbance, with no arrests, in the 900 block of Bridge Street. Emergency protection-from-abuse materials were provided, the department said.

A civil matter in the 300 block of Church Street had police at the scene.

MAY 3

Traffic stops were conducted in the 300 block of Front Street and on North 14th Street, with the latter having a citation issued.

Officers responded to a harassment complaint, involving problems with students, at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.

Police assisted Whitehall officers in the 3700 block of Lehigh Street and Easton officers in the 700 block of Second Street.

An adult missing from the 400 block of Bridge Street was investigated.

MAY 4

A domestic disturbance took place in the 400 block of Prospect Street.

In the 200 block of East Wood Street, a noise complaint was investigated.

During a traffic stop in the 500 block of Race Street, a written warning was issued.

Police assisted Lehigh County Drug Task Force in the 500 block of Front Street, with an arrest made because of a warrant; assisted Whitehall officers in the 2600 block of MacArthur Road; and assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1200 block of Second Street for a cardiac arrest.

MAY 5

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 700 block of Locust Street.

A suspicious person on Front Street was reported.

Traffic stops occurred in the 500 block of Race Street, with a citation issued, and in the 1000 block of Race Street, with a verbal warning issued.

A K-9 assist occurred in the 1200 block of Third Street for a wanted person.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Lehigh Street.

A parking complaint in the 500 block of Walnut Street was investigated.

In the 300 block of Church Street, the borough crew was requested for help with a citizen assist.

A juvenile complaint in the 400 block of Front Street had police at the scene. The case was forwarded to the school resource officers.

A vehicle was ticketed due to a parking violation in the 200 block of Church Street.

Police assisted a citizen in the 200 block of Lehigh Street.

A driver was cited due to a traffic violation during a vehicle stop in the 400 block of Second Street.

In the 200 block of High Street, a parking complaint was investigated.

Criminal mischief to a vehicle took place in the 500 block of North 14th Street.

Suspicious activity in the 200 block of Bridge Street was reported.

In the 700 block of Front Street, a parking complaint was investigated.

A problem with a juvenile occurred at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

MAY 7

Suspicious vehicles in the 300 block of Howertown Road and the 500 block of St. John Street were reported.

Officers assisted Whitehall police in the 2000 block of North First Avenue.

On Race Street, a report of the use of fireworks/explosives was investigated.

A traffic stop was conducted on Race Street. A citation was filed.

Police assisted code enforcement in the 400 block of Race Street.

Officers investigated a criminal mischief case in the 200 block of East Wood Street.

A K-9 assist was conducted on Limestone Street.

A male who was intoxicated on Front Street was reported to police. The individual was cited.

MAY 8

An alarm sounded in the 700 block of Third Street.

Police assisted a citizen on Race Street.

MAY 9

Officers responded to an animal complaint of ducklings caught in a sewer in the 800 block of Church Street.

Police assisted Montgomery Township officers in the 200 block of Faith Drive and Coplay officers on Saylor Drive.

A civil matter took place in the 300 block of Bridge Street.

MAY 10

Suspicious activity in the 400 block of Race Street was reported.

An animal complaint was investigated in the 500 block of Kurtz Street.

A juvenile missing from the 100 block of Pine Street was reported. A mental health evaluation was involved.

In the 400 block of Crane Street, a neighbor dispute occurred.

At Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St., the use/possession of fireworks/explosives was investigated.
