Emma Angle earns athlete of week honors

Moravian College senior Emma Angle was named as the Landmark Conference Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week on April 19 for her performance the week before.

Angle helped the Greyhounds remain undefeated on the year to that point with a pair of 9-0 victories in Landmark Conference action. She won a pair of straight set matches at first singles, and Angle teamed with twin sister Mary Angle for two wins at first doubles.

“Emma has really been playing some great tennis all season for us at both the number-1 singles and number-1 doubles positions,” commented Director of Tennis Aaron Wilf. “She gives us so much strength at the top of the lineup and continues to be such a great competitor every time she steps onto the court.”

Hozza and Tepes are cousins, and of course, all four played for the Konkrete Kids.
