Nominations for the 93rd Academy Awards have been announced.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences 2021 Academy Awards ceremonies are for films released Jan. 1, 2020 - Feb. 28, 2021.

The ABC telecast of the ceremony, 8 p.m. (EST) April 25, Dolby Theatre and Union Station, both Los Angeles, is two months later because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Lehigh Valley Press Focus again presents the “Readers Pick the Oscar Winners” contest. The person who picks the most correct number of Oscar recipients in the contest’s seven categories receives a $50 Penn’s Peak gift card, Roxy Theatre movie tickets, a Press prize package, and may have his or her photo published in the Focus section of the eight Press newspapers and websites.
