The kitchen and outreach teams of Christ’s Church at Lowhill, met March 31 to assemble 10 Easter baskets for congregants unable to make it physically to church, and for some who are recuperating from an illness or hospital stay.

The baskets included goodies for a complete Easter meal, including creamed cabbage, made by head chef Sue Heffner of Orefield, a ham, potatoes, vegetables, rolls, cookies and candy.

Fifteen Easter tulips, candy and cards were also delivered to church members and friends who lost a loved one this past year.
