Martha J. Brinkman, 86, of Whitehall, died March 30, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital- Sacred Heart campus, Allentown. She was the wife of Charles Q. Brinkman Sr. for 69 years.

She was a daughter of the late Harry and Martha (Finley) Holderman.

She was a waitress for 20 years and was last employed by the former Friendly’s Ice Cream, Whitehall, until she retired in 1996. Before that, she was a machine operator for the former Cross Country Clothes, Egypt, for 20 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Charles Q. Jr. and his wife Pamela of Northampton; two daughters, Rita A. and her husband Wilson Scheirer and Susan J. and her husband Stephen Sedora, all of Whitehall; a sister, Elizabeth Ramos of Whitehall; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
