Parkland Community Library offering a variety of programs

Parkland Community Library, South Whitehall Township, is offering a virtual Teen Dungeon and Dragons Night Zoom meeting 6-8 p.m. April 5 through the website R20 for students in seventh through 12th grade.

Adults, join library staff for its Dive into Databases video series 10:30 a.m. April 6 on Facebook.

They will provide tips and simple instructions to unlocking database features.

The library’s Paint and Sip class with guidance from art instructor Anita Thompson will be presented 7 p.m. April 6 via Zoom.

Participants will learn how to draw with their brush to create a watercolor cactus landscape.

Supply kits are limited, so register early.

Registration is limited to 10 participants.

The Teen Virtual Anime Club for kids in grades six through 12 will meet 6:30-7:30 p.m. April 7 via Zoom to watch a selected anime episode through Crunchyroll or Funimation.

The Short Story Society for adults is scheduled to discuss the short story “Broads” by Roxanne Gay from 3-4 p.m. April 8 via Zoom.

Registration is needed to attend all events except the Dive into Database class.
