Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

JAN. 25

Police assisted citizens in the 100 block of Front Street and in the 100 block of American Street.

At Bridge and Second streets and in the 200 block of Lehigh Street, vehicle stops occurred. The drivers were cited.

A juvenile harassment case took place in the 200 block of East Wood Street.

At DND Market, 252 Race St., a hit and run took place.

Suspicious activity in the 300 block of Mulberry Street was investigated.

Police responded to a noise complaint in the 300 block of Church Street. The department said the loud music was from a vehicle, and it was turned off.

JAN. 26

Drivers were cited during vehicle stops for a traffic violation at Front and Pine streets and in the 200 block of Lehigh Street.

Vehicles were repossessed in the 300 block of Church Street and in the 400 block of Race Street.

Abandoned vehicles were tagged in the 500 block of American Street and in the 500 block of Third Street.

Police sought information regarding a suspected child abuse case in the 700 block of Crane Street.

An issue between a landlord and tenant occurred in the 600 block of Fourth Street.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 100 block of Front Street.

JAN. 27

A vehicle stop was conducted in the 300 block of Second Street. A verbal warning was issued.

Police investigated an animal complaint in the 500 block of Front Street.

A report of identity theft was investigated at Silver Manor, 2 Front St.

Officers assisted a citizen on Second Street.

Police assisted outside agencies at Howertown Road and Walnut Street and in the 700 block of Third Street, the latter resulting in an attempt to relay information.

A hit and run occurred at 429 Race St.

JAN. 28

A report of an abandoned vehicle in the 100 block of Front Street was investigated.

Police assisted an outside agency for a wanted person in the 200 block of Church Street.

A fraud case in the 200 block of East Wood Street is under investigation.

JAN. 29

A reported ordinance violation involving trucks was investigated at Front and Bridge streets.

Suspicious activity in the 100 block of East Wood Street was reported to police.

JAN. 30

Police assisted a citizen on Railroad Street twice.

Criminal mischief in the 100 block of Race Street was investigated.

Officers sought information at Schlegel’s Dry Cleaning, 120 Race St.

Officers and the department’s K-9 assisted Whitehall police at Second and Lehigh streets.

JAN. 31

A verbal domestic disturbance, with no arrests, occurred on Cambridge Place.

A report of reckless driving at Front and Pine streets was investigated.

In the 400 block of Race Street, police investigated a report of an ordinance violation.

Police assisted a citizen in the 700 block of Front Street. The vehicle was towed.

Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 100 block of Milton Street.

FEB. 1

A fraud phone call in the 800 block of Bridge Street was investigated.

An investigation involved a Megan’s Law issue in the 700 block of Second Street.

Police investigated a snow complaint in the 200 block of Church Street.

Officers responded to a parking complaint at 124 Bridge St.

FEB. 2

A parking complaint on Walnut Street was investigated. The vehicle was towed.

A verbal domestic disturbance, with no arrests, occurred at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

On Front Street, a driver was cited during a vehicle stop for a traffic violation.

Police conducted a welfare check in the 400 block of Milton Street.

A neighbor dispute took place in the 200 block of Second Street.

On North 17th Street, a domestic disturbance occurred. The suspect was arrested, police said.

Individuals were warned regarding snow incidents at Crane and Bridge streets.

An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 600 block of Bethlehem Road.

FEB. 3

Neighbor disputes took place in the 300 block of Union Street and in the 100 block of Front Street, the latter regarding snow incidents.

Possible drug activity at Catasauqua Highrise, 534 Third St., was investigated by the department.

A complaint over parking due to the snow emergency had police in the 500 block of Front Street.

A vehicle was ticketed due to a parking violation in the 500 block of Third Street.

Police received a report of property damage in the 200 block of Canal Street.

Officers assisted a citizen regarding parking in the 200 block of Front Street.

A warning was provided during a snow complaint investigation in the 400 block of Race Street. The individual was also given a copy of the ordinance.

Plow operators were warned at 330 Howertown Road.

Police sought information regarding a towed vehicle at 547 Front St.
