LCCC, Lock Haven sports program agreement

For students considering a career in athletics, as a coach, manager, agent or director in a high school, college or minor or major league sports, Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) and Lock Haven University have completed an agreement that allows students who have received an Associate of Science in Sport Management from LCCC to transfer to Lock Haven’s Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration.

LCCC graduates will have all 61 credits accepted into Lock Haven’s B.S. degree. Students must have a minimum of a C grade point average and will enter Lock Haven as a junior. The application fee at Lock Haven is waived for transfer students.

“This agreement streamlines the pathway for students interested in earning their degree in Sport Management,” said LCCC President Dr. Ann D. Bieber.

“We are honored to join with Lock Haven in smoothing the way for students to earn their college degrees,” Bieber said.

“We are excited to partner with Lehigh Carbon Community College to offer students this opportunity to further their education with LHU,” said Dr. Robert Pignatello, Lock Haven University President.
