Fleeing or attempting to elude police

Najeer Tyrone Lane, 21, of Bethlehem, was charged Jan. 4 with allegedly fleeing and eluding police and additional associated charges after an incident in the 1500 block of Broadway, according to Salisbury police.

Indirect criminal attempt

A 44-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged Dec. 26, 2020, with alleged indirect criminal attempt following an incident in the 1400 block of Harriet Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The female was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

DUI

A 47-year-old female, of Bethlehem, was charged Jan. 1 with allegedly driving under the influence and related offenses after a traffic stop in the 1100 block of East Susquehanna Street, according to Salisbury police. The female was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Theft from vehicle

A resident of the 1800 block of East Susquehanna Street reported a catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 28, 2020 and remains under investigation.

Suspected drug delivery

Salisbury police officers are investigating a suspected drug delivery to a patient inside Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 27, 2020 and remains under investigation.

Criminal mischief

A resident of the 3100 block of Catherine Avenue reported a vehicle window was found smashed. The incident was reported Jan. 8 and remains under investigation.

Scam

A resident of the 800 block of East Federal Street was scammed out of $12,000 after she was told she was under investigation for money laundering and drug trafficking, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 30, 2020 and remains under investigation.

A resident of the 900 block of Miller Street was scammed out of $30,000 after she was told she was a winner in the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Jan. 8 and remains under investigation.

Fireworks

Salisbury police investigated a report of fireworks in the 800 block of East Paoli Street Jan. 1. No fireworks were visible or heard when police arrived, according to Salisbury police.

Identity theft

A resident of the 1300 block of Byfield Street found two transactions totaling $2,165.24 made on her Discover card account, according to Salisbury police. The card holder is disputing the charges. The incident was reported Jan. 4.

Fraud

A resident in the 1500 block of Maumee Avenue found $600 was removed from her bank account through a sell app, according to Salisbury police. The resident said the charges are fraudulent. The incident was reported Jan. 6.

Theft

A resident of the 900 block of Summit Street alleged an $1,800 check was removed by a financial software company and he was unable to reach the company, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Jan. 5.
