Christmas comes early for Good Will Fire Company

According to information provided by Good Will Fire Company No. 1, Trexlertown, members of the fire company received some early Christmas presents Nov. 3 from Home Depot thanks to a generous donation from local business Kay Builders.

The fire team received more than $3,000 worth of Milwaukee tools as part of the company’s tool upgrade project.

The tools will be used as part of vehicle extrications, forcible entry and scene lighting at various emergency incidents.

The fire team is now better equipped to assist local residents in their time of need.

As an added bonus, Home Depot donated hand sanitizer and various cleaning supplies to the fire team.

While in the midst of this ongoing pandemic, this provides the fire team members with some peace of mind knowing they have sanitary and cleaning supplies to use between emergency responses in an effort to keep them safe and healthy.
