Six Trojans named EPC All-Stars

The East Penn Conference announced this year’s field hockey all-stars last week.

With teams playing in-county schedules in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic, the league releases three lists of all-stars with one from each of the counties within the league. The lists include selections for a first team, a smaller list of second-team players and one most valuable player in each county.

Parkland had the most players named to any first team, more than even state champion Emmaus. Five Trojans made the first team and one other earned a second-team nod.

The Trojans’ Emma Brayford, Emma Brunnabend, Aurora Gery, Logan Oswald and Aubrey Semler were all named to the first team, while Darby Reyburn earned a spot on the second team.

The Lehigh County MVP is Annika Herbine of Emmaus, which had four players named to the first team and two more on the Lehigh County Second Team. Easton’s Sophi Emin was named MVP for Northampton County. Stroudsburg’s Amanda Duke got the nod for MVP in Monroe County.

The following is a list of the 2020 East Penn Conference field hockey all-stars.
