Emmaus High School student of the week

Q. In what grade are you currently enrolled?

A. I’m a senior at Emmaus High School.

Q. Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.

A. Danielle and Bill Kulnis.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. I love biology. I find it super interesting and love learning how organisms work.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I am a member of National Honor Society.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has COVID-19 impacted these activities?

A. I’m a member of Symphonia and cello ensemble at the school. We weren’t able to have our spring concert and the fall concert isn’t happening this year. Hopefully we will be able to rehearse again in the spring.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. My college essays have been a struggle. I find it difficult to write about myself.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. I want to attend college and major in microbiology.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A. I really admire Dolly Parton. I love how she’s completely and unapologetically herself.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I want to be remembered for my kindness.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. Put effort in to everything you do.
